Denmarkâs National Parks, including the world famous Tree Top Walk in the Valley of the GiantsThe Valley of the Giants features the famous Tree Top Walk, a 600 metre walkway through the canopy of an ancient red tingle forest, while the ground level Ancient Empire introduces the visitor to veteran trees up to 16 metres in circumference.William Bay National Park includes stretches of inspiring coastline.
Greens Pool, protected from the breakers by outlying rocks, is a glorious, safe swimming spot for families, rivalled only by nearby Madfish Bay, which is protected behind a small island. There are many other wonderful national parks as well as surfing, fishing and swimming beaches close by.Wineries, Arts and CraftsThe Denmark wine region offers delightful premium wines, from vineyards set amidst the area's natural beauty.
The fine, high quality local wines have distinct, recognisable, regional characteristics. There are around 14 cellar door operations, with a variety of associated attractions including gardens, picnic areas, barbecue facilities and restaurants.Some people believe that there is an 'art magnet' hidden somewhere in Denmark, because of the number and quality of artisans and galleries in the area.
